Paula Infeld
Vice President, Managing Director

Paula Infeld is an experienced executive with demonstrated success in Project Management, and implementation of health care information technology (HIT) solutions.  Her recent focus has been on HITECH, and its impact on the implementation of electronic health records, health information exchange, and practice management solutions.  She has recognized expertise in the fields of revenue cycle management, regulatory compliance, HIPAA, and developing application and technology support desk and training services.  Paula has extensive experience in execution and management for large revenue cycle operations, and she is a leader committed to empowering teams to manage their applications, integrating technology, and achieving profitability with successful use of applications.

  • Consultant for vendor sales force for meaningful use, total cost of ownership, regulatory compliance, and EHR readiness and implementation,
  • Grant writing and management including Beacon Community Grant Project Leadership for $24M award,

  • Project Manager and EMR implementation for 300+ providers,
  • Certified Trainer and EMR Consultant,
  • Managed all Revenue Cycle Operations for a 100 + provider, 31 locations, specialty group with greater than $60 million in revenues.  Consistently met or exceeded corporate goals for revenue generation with 98% net collections and 30 days in AR, for more than three consecutive years,
  • VP of Applications and Support for a Medical Manager VAR with 350 Doctors and 1000+ users,
  • Selection of new technologies, integral to the implemented, and retirement of legacy software for 350 provider billing organization,
  • Responsible for all aspects of revenue cycle management for two billing offices with 48 employees and 28 billing and practice management clients.  Reimbursement analyst for numerous physicians practices with proven success in revenue generation,
  • Author of Back to Basics Management for Physicians (1996) and numerous policy, procedure, and technical manuals,
  • HIPAA Security Officer for 200+ employee billing organization,
  • Corporate Compliance Officer for 100+ employee billing organization,
  • Managed 51 client data sets with multiple practice management software systems,
  • Directed three clinic, acute, and primary care delivery systems serving more than 40,000 patients per year.  Administrator for 42 physicians and 40+ employees,

  • President, Student Nurses Association Montgomery College 1976-1978.

Background

Ms. Infeld has more than twenty-five years experience in health care administration including extensive application technology implementation and support, clinical nursing, revenue cycle management, and practice management experience.  Her areas of expertise are in integrating PM and EMR software to assure clinical content and billing operational success.

Ms. Infeld earned her Nursing degree from Montgomery College, Takoma Park Maryland, and her Bachelor’s degree in a program she wrote for George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia.
